The Missy Foundation, was formed in 1992 with the purpose of making a difference in the lives of homeless, and abused animals in need, wherever they may be. Every living entity has the right to warm shelter and good food, but most importantly, they have the right to be wanted and loved. They have the right to be a special, much loved member of their own family.

There are many small groups through out the United States, and Canada who through their own extraordinary efforts, very little funding, and even less publicity, perform outstanding feats of kindness, and humanity, in the area of animal care and rescue, on a daily basis. It is these groups who need our help the most. The vast majority of them have the manpower, and the will and determination to carry on in an efficient manner, but they just don’t have enough access the FUNDING required to accomplish their missions.

Missy’s Endowment Fund was created in order to assist these amazing charitable groups. The income generated from the fund will provide an ongoing source of funds in order to assist in the funding of these groups. Therefore, the Missy will seek out and find those private, non-profit, no-kill organizations who are performing an outstanding job in achieving their goals of making a difference in the lives and care of our companion friends. Whether it is rescuing animals in their local area, or assisting in natural disasters around the world, Missy’s goal is to be there!!!

All donations received are tax-deductible in the United States and Canada, and will be placed in 100% government guaranteed interest securities and other qualified investments. All interest proceeds, will be used for the purposes outlined above. This leaves the principle working to produce income on an ongoing basis, thus providing funds in perpetuity to always help our companion friends.
